How to see your blocked numbers on WhatsApp, and what blocking does

Why it is deliberately silent
WhatsApp gives the blocked person no signal at all — no notice, no error, no distinguishable behaviour. Their messages behave exactly as they would if your phone were switched off.

How to block someone
