One mailbox, read by a person. There is no contact form, because a form would only email us anyway and would have to collect more about you than an email does. Messages are usually answered within three business days.
1. How to reach us
Vobocontact@vobo.online
Vobo is operated from the United States. A postal address is provided on written request to the email address above.
A clear subject line genuinely speeds things up. The categories below are the ones we route first — each heading links to a pre-addressed email if that is easier.
2. What we can help with
Corrections and errors
The most useful message you can send us. If a step no longer matches the app, a menu has moved, a figure is out of date or a claim is simply wrong, tell us — and if you can, include the page URL, your platform (iOS or Android) and roughly what you see instead. We check every correction, and if you are right we fix the article and change its updated date. Send a correction.
A question we have not answered
If you looked for something here and could not find it, that is useful to know. We choose what to write next largely from what people actually ask, so a one-line message describing what you were trying to find out genuinely shapes the site. Suggest an article.
Copyright and DMCA notices
Everything here is our own writing, so a valid claim against us should be rare — but if you believe something on the site infringes your copyright, our DMCA and Copyright Policy sets out exactly what a notice needs to contain. You are also welcome to raise it informally first; most concerns are resolved that way in an afternoon. Send a copyright notice.
Privacy requests
To exercise any right under the California CCPA/CPRA, another US state privacy law, or the UK or EU GDPR — access, deletion, correction, objection, opt-out — write to us and say which right you are exercising. We respond within one month. In practice we usually hold nothing identifiable about you beyond a short-lived server log, and an access request is often answered by telling you precisely that. See section 10 of our Privacy Policy. Make a privacy request.
Permission to reuse our work
You may quote us briefly with attribution and a link without asking. For anything more — republishing an article, translating one, using a diagram in a course or a book — write and tell us what you would like to do and where it will appear. We are usually happy to say yes. Ask about reuse.
Press, partnerships and advertising
Use the same address and describe what you have in mind. We should say in advance that we do not accept guest posts, sponsored articles, paid links or link exchanges, and that no advertiser has influence over editorial content. Messages proposing any of those are deleted unread, which saves us both time.
3. What we cannot help with
This is the important part of the page, and it is not a brush-off — it is the difference between waiting three days for a reply that cannot help and going straight to someone who can.
Vobo is an independent publication with no connection to WhatsApp LLC or Meta Platforms, Inc. and no access to any WhatsApp account, including yours. We cannot:
- recover a lost or hacked account, or reverse a ban;
- restore deleted messages or a lost chat history;
- tell you whether a specific person has blocked you — nobody can, and our articles explain why;
- unblock anything, change any setting on your account, or contact WhatsApp on your behalf;
- identify the owner of a phone number, or trace anyone;
- advise on your individual legal, financial or security situation.
For an account problem, WhatsApp’s own support is reachable from inside the app at Settings → Help → Contact us, which is the only route that reaches someone able to act on your account.
If you have been defrauded, contact your bank first — some transfers can still be recalled within hours — and then your national fraud reporting service. If you are being threatened, or images of you are being shared without consent, contact the police; both are crimes in most US states and in most other countries. In the US you can report fraud to the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center at ic3.gov and to the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov. Keep the messages as evidence rather than deleting them.
4. A note on impersonation
We will never contact you first, and we will never ask you for a six-digit verification code, a two-step verification PIN, a password, a payment, or remote access to your device. Nobody legitimate will. If a message claiming to be from Vobo asks for any of those, it is not us — please forward it to us so we know it is circulating.
5. Before you email
A quick check of these may get you an answer immediately:
- Something not working? Start with why WhatsApp is not working, which puts the checks in order of how often each one turns out to be the cause.
- Message stuck on one tick? Why messages are not delivering covers every explanation, including the ones that look like being blocked but are not.
- Wondering what we do with your data? The Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy answer it, and the short version is on the front page.
- Wondering how we research and correct things? That is the editorial policy.
